Rules

No harrassment. AKA no insulting members or
their horses, no sending chain letters, no spamming, etc. You will be either suspended or
expelled by the court/police if you are found doing that. I leave control over punishment
for that up to them.
You start out with only $100,000 and five
horses. That should be more than enough. You can earn more money by getting a job as a
bank teller, a police officer, or a humane officer. You can view information on those jobs
on their respective pages.
We do use cash as well as checks. No credit
cards. When you use cash, however, a bill of sale must be sent to the bank
manager so he/she can transfer the money over. More information on how the bank works on
the bank page.
Do NOT link
to other games! You are allowed to participate and even own another game, just don't link
to them. I will deal with it personally if I find a person doing so.
The first two people to join get their own
stables. The rest must board at least a month before they apply for approval to
own a barn and then wait another month before they submit their barn for approval. A
member may only own or co-own one barn.
If you recieve a chain letter or SPAM from
somebody who you either know or suspect is a member, forward it to NO OTHER MEMBER but DO
forward it to both me and the police chief. Chain letters and SPAM within Champion Horse
will not be tolerated.

Showing
All shows must be approved by the Horse Show
Society.
You may only enter your horses in up to 3
hard divisions (explained at the Horse Show Society) and 5 easy divisions. If you only
enter hard divisions, then you may enter up to 4, if you enter only easy divisions then
you may enter up to 6. If you enter just classes (like at a class-only show) you may enter
up to 3 hard classes and 6 easy classes or 4 hard classes or 10 easy classes.
If you are found overworking your horse(s)
me or one of the other members will report you to the humane society. The offense and
offender will be taken care of accordingly.
Maximum amount of points a horse can get at
a show is 30. There are different ratings for show horses and racehorses. The points only
go to third place. like this:
1st-30
2nd-20
3rd-10
A horse can only enter one show every other
day. If it is a 2 day show then you must give your horse at least 2 days of rest until its
next show. Offenders will be dealt with.
Only three shows can be held a day and they
must be at seperate show grounds.

Racing
All races must be approved by the Horse
Racing Society.
You may only enter your horses into one race
per race/race day.
If you are found over working your horse(s)
you will be reported immediately to the horse racing society AND the Humane Society. The
offense and offender will be dealt with accordingly.
Maximum amount of points a horse can get per
race is 60. The points can only go to third place like this:
1st-60
2nd-40
3rd-20
A horse can only enter a race every weekend.
One race a week in otherwords. There must be at least 5 days of rest from one race to the
next. Offenders will be dealt with.
Only one race day can be held a day and it
must be at an APPROVED track. There can be up to 2 single races a day (on a day that there
is NOT a race day!) but they must be at least 3 hours apart or at 2 seperate APPROVED
tracks.

Time
One(1) real life year is equal to two(2) SIM
years. All horses age one(1) year on June 31 and December 31.
There is no time warping and no non-aging
horses.
If the owner wishes, a horse may age six(6)
months per "year" for a minimum of three(3) SIM years. A horse may also age
two(2) years per "year" for a minimum of two(2) SIM years.
Mares must be in foal at least
four and a half(4) RL months before it can foal. It must then wait until the foal is at
least weaned and then another RL month before it can breed again for the mares sake.
Stallions can only be bred up to ten(10)
times a RL month.
Remember, one(1) RL month is equal to two(2)
SIM months.

Care and Management
You must take your horses
to the vet at least every three real months (6 SIM months) and to the farrier at least
every 2 real weeks (1 SIM month)
You must buy enough feed for your horses at
the beginning of the RL month to last a full RL month. Amounts and information are
specified on the feed store page.
You must buy tack for your
horses before they show. You cannot show without tack! :)
Once every 2 RL months you must have some
sort of a disaster. You can have somebody give it to you or you can give it to yourself.
It can be as minor as your horse got a minor case of colic (cleared up immediately!) or as
major as your horse broke it's cannon bone and had to be put down.

Stables
Stables must have a registered number from
the stable approval society to be posted under "Stables."
Stables will be checked up on at least once
every 2 rl months. If they are inactive or have not been updated within the past month,
then they will be removed and their horses confiscated by the SPCA.
Private stables are allowed for stud barns
and for the more prestegious stables that require an invitation. If you want to own one of
those then you must have boarded for at least three months. Waited 1 rl months
before applying to own one and another 1rl months before you sibmit it for approval.
Make sure you specify it on the form to make sure your barn gets sent to the right
division.
A private stable may not own more than
fifteen stallions if it is a stud barn.
Every boarding stable, private or not, must
have room for both its boarders and it's own horses!
Every boarding stable, private or not,
cannot own more than 150 horses at a time but may apply to own more at the Stable Approval
Society.
Boarders cannot own more than 20 horses at a
time. Boarders approved for stable ownership cannot own more than 50 horses at a time.
Both can apply for more horses from the registry.
